About this practice

Why are there only five questions?

Each default topic and difficulty group contains five items. Mixed review has a larger pool.

How are answers checked?

The browser compares your answer with the saved key. Lesson modes require every gap in an item.

Lesson practice

A lesson link opens its ten matching prompts. Choose other practice to return to the default question bank.

Learn from a correction

Read the explanation after each answer. The result links back to the topic’s lesson.

What is in the question bank

There are 60 questions. Each of the four topics has 15 questions, five for beginners (A1 to A2), five for intermediate learners (B1 to B2) and five for advanced learners (C1). One topic at one level gives you five questions. Choose Mixed Review to draw questions from all four topics at your level.

How to use your mistakes

A wrong answer is useful. It shows you which rule to read again. The wrong options in each question are errors that learners often make, so read the explanation even when you get the answer right.

The score at the end is the number of correct answers as a percentage. Try the same topic again the next day and see if the score goes up.
